This would be a great book for anyone in the intermediate or upper intermediate level, perhaps even early advanced. But I bought this book expecting it to be advanced -- complex techniques, no fingering, variety within each piece and among the pieces -- and this pieces did not meet those expectations. I was able to sightread each piece without a problem. You shouldn't be able to play advanced pieces almost perfectly the first time. Again, this book would be perfect for a player at an earlier level. But if you're really expecting advanced, don't buy this. It won't provide any challenge.
